About us
Who we are
3G Travel was founded by Zsuzsa and Eszter, two women who have travelled all around the world, but wouldn't choose to live anywhere but in Budapest.
Zsuzsa started working as a tour guide in early thirties but spent many years as entrepreneur launching such ventures as a television program that ran for ten years on Hungarian television to a biotech company in southern Hungary. Her husband is an award winning film director and her daughter and her husband carry on that tradition. She instinctively knew she hit on an idea when she met Eszter. Eszter spent fifteen years in the travel industry with major international travel agencies such as Dertour, Kuoni and BTI. Together with Zsuzsa, she decided it was time to show the world Hungary from a new vantage point

GENERAL ADVISOR
András Török, author of the famous guide book "Budapest - A Critical Guide" is our most important advisor and quality supervisor. BORIKA

Has always dreamed of becoming a professional guide. She usually guides tourists from Northern Europe (she is fluent in several Scandinavian languages). Mr. Rockefeller is among her many former clients as a Budapest guide. Feel free to ask him for references...
JUDIT

Learned English as a college student in the U.S. where she studied art. She has always worked in the fields of art and travel. She recently organized a Jewish heritage tour for her husband's thirty-five distant relatives and she is willing to do the same for you. Her husband happens to be the interior architect of the Holocaust Memorial Center in Budapest, which you will have the chance to see as part of our Jewish Heritage Tour.
KATI

Has tried many things in her life. She is a real survivor type, ready to show you her Budapest and share her own experiences, holding a mirror to the dramatic changes all Eastern Europeans had to go through. Should you be interested in economics, do not hesitate to turn to her, for she is a well-trained financial advisor as well.
IMRE

Is a patent lawyer by profession. He earned his living as a professional guide during his university years and never stopped being an amateur one. His dream was to retire one day and show people around in Budapest and in Hungary - so now he is all yours.
